Yes, required
Mandatory for drones with a camera or weighing more than 250 g; fee €35 (€17.50 via the slovensko.sk electronic registration), with proof of third-party liability insurance.
Insurance
C0/C1 classes are exempt from the insurance requirement as of 15 July 2024; C2/C3/C4 classes and unclassified drones above 249 g remain subject to it.
