Morocco
Almost total ban (Decree n° 386-15)
Morocco has effectively banned the import, possession and use of drones across the whole national territory since 2015.
Tourist flying effectively not allowed
For tourists there is no viable path: the drone must be left at home, because it will almost certainly be detected by X-ray and seized at customs (with a fine if undeclared, or a storage fee if declared and collected on departure).
Zones to avoid
No-fly zones usually follow the same recurring categories (airports, military sites, protected areas, historic centers). For this country: General ban under Decree n° 386-15 of 6 February 2015.
What isn't 100% confirmed yet
The ban is reconfirmed, as of 15 September 2026, by an official French diplomatic source (France Diplomatie), consistent with several secondary sources. The DGAC Maroc site (dgac.gov.ma) is currently unreachable (the domain doesn't resolve): the official link now points to the diplomatic advisory page, the most reliable and up-to-date public source found.
