CAA Oman — CAR-102, Remote Piloted Aircraft (Drones)
Oman classifies drones by weight tier (Very Small, Small, Medium, Large) under the CAA's CAR-102 regulation. Registration and a licence are mandatory for the higher weight tiers; for small/recreational drones the licence remains optional.

Zones to avoid
Minimum distance 30 m from uninvolved people (15 m with their consent, for the Very Small/Small/Medium tiers). Forbidden in prohibited/restricted zones published in Oman's AIP/NOTAMs and for hazardous operations.
